The party of “No” has given comfort to our enemies. They have sent a signal of insurrection and division to those who have declared our destruction as their chief objective. Their political narcissism has portrayed us as a country divided; a country who will not rally around our newly elected President. The “sore loser” Republican party has gotten squarely behind the “turf-movement” of the tea party crowd. Fox News, Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Joe Wilson, as well as all of the formerly sane Republican Congressman and Senators have sold all of us out for political advantage. They have forgotten that there are “real” enemies who vow the destruction of the United States and its allies.
Imagine the glee from Al-Qaeda operatives derived from watching Joe Wilson say, “you lie” when the President of The United States was speaking before the Senate and Congress. Imagine the joy Al-Qaeda gets when they hear the litanies from Fox News operatives about their “plans” to not support the President, about how they will conduct their efforts to dismantle his Presidency. Imagine the excitement as Al-Qaeda plans their new attacks on our soil, because all they can see is a country divided. “…a house divided against itself cannot stand…”
Now, the Republican Party will have the audacity of blaming the Administration for the “underwear bomber.” I suggest to you that neither the White House nor its administration is what has emboldened our enemies; it is the likes of Dick Cheney who refuses to leave his “bunker of treachery” in Washington. He refuses to allow this new President to do the job of cleaning up the mess that George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld left behind. Treachery lies in the mantras of treason shouted by Fox News, Palin, Bachman, Limbaugh now even McCain. Are the 2010 elections more important to the Republicans than the safety of the American people?
I cannot sit idly by and allow all of the pundits to forget how we have been perceived by other countries because of all of the flagrant direspect to the Executive Branch. Al-Qaeda has been waiting for a breach of unity to “finish us off.” It has nothing to do with the President trying to mend the broken fences of diplomacy all over the world. It has more to do with the Republican Confederacy. The attacks made upon our soil are becoming pallid compared to the attacks upon our government by these Republican insurrectionists.
Dick Cheney is calling President Obama “soft” on the “enemy. ” His real motive for doing so, is his attempt to keep the skeletons within his closet from falling out during NYC trials. When Fox News has been pounding its drum for resistance against the”tyrant” Obama, I suggest to you that they have been telegraphing this great divide to those who really want to hurt us. In their narcissistic lust for political power, they have in fact, sold all of us out. They should never be rewarded for their stance of “no,” by putting them back in power. These so called “patriots” or “real Americans” look like nests of Benedict Arnolds. This country should never forget the climate established by their treachery when re-elections come around. For Republicans it was never about the well-being of the American people, but rather about their narcissistic ambition for complete political power.
